Queensrÿche album news: Geoff Tate-version

Queensryche-LineupIt has come to knowledge that Craig Locicero (Forbidden and Spiralarms) and Paul Bostaph (Forbidden, Testament, Slayer and Exodus) will be album musicians for the upcoming Queensrÿche (Geoff Tate-version) album. Craig has made statements, ensuring that the album is a lot more heavier than what anyone can expect. A statement many probably will feel a strong disbelief in, in regard to the last development of Queensrÿche albums, heaviness and metal have not exactly been the benchmark. But you do start to get suspicious when musician of these likes are mentioned. The album will also feature several guest appearances, for instance K.K. Downing (Judas Priest) and Brad Gillis (Night Ranger).

In April Geoff Tate will take his touring band out on for a ride to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the progressive milestone “Operation Mindcrime“. A guaranteed crowd bringer but one must also ask if we will see a 30th anniversary also since the 20th quite recently was done. And will it be two options of Queensrÿche touring the same anniversary?

The questions are many and they will most probably be answered when the upcoming albums of the competing camps are released.
